Dear Peggy and family;
Dave and I knew each other for 40 years. We met worked together at Connelley Ford back in 1977. We were good friends. He was the best transmission man in Tennessee. We visited often, always had good conversation and was a great guy. We spent many hour talking about EVERYTHING. I always enjoyed his company.
I am so sorry for your loss. I know you will miss him and so will I.

David Troutt family,

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of David. I have known him for as long as I can remember, and we were neighbors for several years. He was one of the best transmission techs I have ever known, and I've met a lot of them in my 35 years in the auto repair business. He was one of my Dad's best friends, and we will surely miss him. He was a good neighbor, and would always lend a helping hand, even with the hard jobs. God called him home, so he can rest now. Although we grieve our loss now, we can rejoice that he is with our Saviour; and he will smile and welcome us before too long. My thoughts and prayers are with those left to carry on, David doesn't need them now. Praise the Lord, bells are ringing in Heaven.
