Billy Joe Brown 74 of Portland passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Brown will be conducted: Monday, August 31, 2015 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Hale officiating. Interment to follow in Rocky Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Monday, August 31, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown was retired from State of Tennessee Rest Area Maintenance.
