Alfredo Rodriguez Varela

Alfredo Rodriguez Varela, age 81, of Lafayette, TN, passed away November 17, 2023.  He was born January 12, 1942 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico to the late Pedro Rodriguez and Rafaela Varela. 

He is survived by his brother, Juan Jose Barrera; his sister-in-law, Juanita Barrera; his nephews, Andres Barrera, Siguifredo Barrera, Juan Barrera and Daniel Barrera; his nieces, Maria Barrera, Jael Barrera and Esther Barrera; his 33 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of loving family.

Funeral services for Mr. Varela will be conducted on Monday, November 20th, 2023 at 11AM from Bethel Family Worship Center, Lafayette, TN with Bro. Billy Traughber officiating.  Interment will follow in the Barrera Family Cemetery.  The family will receive visitors on Sunday, November 19th from 1PM till 8PM at Woodard Funeral Home, and then on Monday, November 20th from 9AM till service time at 11AM at Bethel Family Worship Center.
