Arlie J. Huddleston

Arlie J. Huddleston, age 85, of Bethpage, TN went to meet the Lord in his new home on Sunday, December 18th, 2016. He prayed all his family, friends and loved ones will meet him there.

Funeral Services for Mr. Huddleston will be conducted on Thursday, Dec. 22 at 2PM from the Sulphur Fork Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Daniel "Danny" Chandler officiating. Interment to follow in the Sulphur Fork Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wed. Dec. 21st from 4PM-8PM at Woodard Funeral Home and Thur. Dec. 22nd from 1PM-service time at 2PM from Sulphur Fork Church.

On January 4, 1931, Arlie J. Huddleston was born to the late Arlie Vaughn Huddleston and Sara Jane Andrews Huddleston. On December 23, 1955, he married Melba Sue Mandrell. On August 20, 1965, a baby girl, Benetta Renee Huddleston King was born. On April 9, 1969, a baby boy, Eric Lynn Huddleston was born. Arlie had two granddaughters and two grandsons, Brooke and Bria King and Brody and Bryson Huddleston.

Arlie worked as a barber and retired from the General Electric after many years of service. Arlie gave his heart to Jesus as a young teenager and joined Sulphur Fork Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a member till his passing. He was called to preach in 1955 and pastored two churches. He loved the Lord very much. He was a United States Army Veteran and proudly served from 1951 to 1953.
