Betty Jo Gregory

On May 9th, 2019 Heaven gained another beautiful angel. Betty Jo Gregory of Knoxville was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Waiting for her at the gates stood her husband of 57 years, Harold Glenn Gregory. Harold and Betty met in 1956, fell in love and married in 1957. Together they raised 5 children. The love these two shared was both comical and encouraging. Encouraging because no matter what obstacles came their way, they overcame them together defying all odds.

Betty Jo is proceeded in death by her husband, Harold Gregory; Son, Darrell Gregory. Son-in-law, Rick Horne. Parents, Ryman Matthews and Essie Turnmire. Survived by: Sons, Ricky and Ronnie Gregory. Daughters, Teresa Gregory and Lesia Horne. Brothers, Terry Matthews and wife Jody. Sisters, Carolyn Hardy and husband David, Linda Butler and husband Glen, Barbara Cadarian and husband John. She leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and countless loved ones.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gregory will be conducted from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Bro. Donnie Wadley officiating. Interment will follow in Eulia Cemetery. The family will receive visitors beginning Sunday, May 12, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home.
