Bro. Guthrie 'Gus' Gregory

Bro. Guthrie "Gus" Gregory, age 83 of Westmoreland, TN, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, November 14, 2019.

Funeral Services for Bro. Gregory will be conducted on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM from Mt. Union General Baptist Tabernacle, Westmoreland, TN, with Bro. Willie B Lyles and Bro. Billy Freeman, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Eulia Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home, and on Sunday, November 17, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 PM at Woodard Funeral Home. Bro. Gregory will then be moved to the Mt. Union Tabernacle for visitation from 12pm to service time at 2PM.

Bro. Gregory was saved by God's grace at the young age of 14 in 1950. He was currently a member of the Mt. Union Association at Pleasant Hill General Baptist Church. He was ordained to the full work of the ministry in September 1957. He has pastored many churches in and around Sumner and Macon County, as well as southern Kentucky. He loved the Lord and the work the Lord had called him to do for over 62 years.

He was retired from D T McCall & Sons as a salesman after many years of service.

He also served as Mason. There will be a Masonic Service on Saturday evening at the funeral home.

Sister - Shirley Faye Gregory

Bro. Gregory is survived by:
Loving Wife of 58 years - Shirley Dean Gregory
Son - Jeff Gregory
Son - Mike & (Charlene) Gregory
Daughter - Amy Gregory
Grand Children - Drew & (Savannah) Gregory, Scotty McDonald, and Morgan & (Justin) Piper
Great Grand Child - Ella Gregory
Sister - BettyJean Meador
