Mr. Charles Gene Blaker, age 78, of Hendersonville, TN passed away on March 3, 2024.He was born October 12, 1945 to Robert B Laker and Florabelle Blaker in Sioux City, IA.
He worked as a Complex Safety Manager for IBP Tyson. Gene was a policeman for the town of Emerson, NE. He also was Fireman/EMT for Sgt Bluff IA, and first responder to the crash of Flight 232 in 1989 in Sioux City, IA.
Charles is survived by his wife, Pamela Jo Blaker; his children, Tyler Blaker, Kenny (Stephanie) Blaker and Gene Blaker; his brother-in-law, James Hamlin; and a host of loving family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Florabelle Blaker.
There are no services planned at this time.
The family have entrusted Woodard Funeral Home with the arrangements for their loved one.
