Clyde Allen Shipley

Clyde Allen Shipley, also known as Santa, passed away December 24, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He was a retired member of Ironworkers Local 492. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Cindy Jenkins Shipley, two brothers, Johnny Leonard Shipley and Jay Shipley, and a granddaughter, Katelyn Denise Maccagnone. He is survived by his love of 10 years, Pam Redmon of Westmoreland, TN., one son, Don Shipley, of Spokane , WA., five daughters, Mary E. Bruner, of Louisville, KY., Cheryl A. Lary, of Louisville, KY., Sherree Moore, of Daytona, FL., Cyntha, A. Wilson, of White House, TN., and Susan Shipley, of Portland, TN., two step-sons, Scotty Boone and Norman Boone, both of Bethpage, TN., 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A Celebration Of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 9th, 2016, from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request that you bring a covered dish for a meal before the service. Some food will be provided. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
