David Sherrell

David Lee Sherrell, 51, of Bethpage, TN, passed away on January 28, 2021.  He was born in Nashville, TN on August 16, 1969. The funeral service for Mr. Sherrell will be conducted on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Martin's Chapel General Baptist Church, Portland, TN with Bro. Terry Howser officiating.  Interment will follow in the Martin's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with family will be on Sunday, January 31st from 3-8 pm at Woodard Funeral Home and on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 9AM-service time at 2PM at Martin's Chapel Church. David is survived by his daughter, Lauren Sherrell of Indianapolis, IN; his parents, Doris Smith and David & Rita Sherrell all of Bethpage, TN; his brothers, Chris & Anne Sherrell of Lafayette, TN and Joey & Barbara Sherrell of Westmoreland, TN; his sister, Tonia Sherrell of Portland, TN; his step-brothers, Nate Piper and Josh & Tara Gregory both of Bethpage, TN; his girlfriend, Linda Blair of Hartsville, TN; his nephews, Dylan & Jasmine Sherrell of Portland, TN, Landen & Summer Keen of Westmoreland, TN, Cody Troutt of Lafayette, TN and Colby Warner of Westmoreland, TN; his nieces, Whitney Morris of Gallatin, TN, Baylee & Chase Akins of Westmoreland, TN, Kaylyn Sherrell of Portland, TN, and Kimberly Johns of Westmoreland, TN; and his grandson, Donovan Skaggs of Portland, TN. He is preceded in death by his step-father, Edward Smith; his grandparents, Millard & Nancy Sherrell and Hugh & Nellie Woodard; his uncles, Ricky Woodard, Buddy Woodard, Donald Sherrell and Sherman Stinson; his aunts, Dixie Woodard and Donna R. Sherrell; his cousin, Holly Woodard; and step-son, Daryl Carter.
