Edward "Eddie" Earl Reid, age 62, of Westmoreland, TN, passed away August 18, 2026. He was born January 27, 1964 to the late Noah, Sr and Virginia Andrews Reid in Gallatin, TN.

In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wesley Odell and Bertha Andrews and Lillian Freeman; his sisters, Lesia Perry and Twyla (Ricky, Sr.) Hobdy; and his nephew, Damien Reid.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tracy Burr Reid; his son, Jackson Reid; his daughter, Jenna Reid; his sister, Cindy Reid; his brothers, Glen (Susan) Reid, and Noah Jr. (Sarah Mueller) Reid; and his granddaughter on the way, Kennedy Mae Reid.

Funeral services for Eddie will be conducted on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 1PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Emery and Bro. Tracy Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the Providence Cemetery.  Serving as active pallbearers will be Darrell Rippy, Larry Rippy, Daerick Reid, Luckas Reid, Logan Smith, Ben Reid, Jesse Reid and Ryan Gregory. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Weston Calloway, Ron Sadler and Jr. Frye. 

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, August 20th from 4PM till 8PM and again on Friday, August 21st from 10AM till service time at 1PM at Woodard Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers the family has requested you make donations to the funeral expenses at Woodard Funeral Home.
