Edward L. Smalling, also known by "Peanut", age 82 of Westmoreland, TN
passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013

Funeral services for Mr. Smalling will be held Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 4:00 PM from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Pastor Peggy Clements officiating.

Interment will follow in Roberts Tabernacle Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home.

Mr. Smalling was retired from Jim Keen Construction.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Magdlene Lambert Smalling, His Mother Dennie Smalling and Father Ervin Smalling. His Sister Gertie Calvert and Step Son Stanley Calvert.

He is survived by his Niece Trendia & husband Billy Miller and their two children Jacob Miller and Whitney Miller all of Bethpage TN. His Nephew Shane & Wife Beverly Woodard and their two children Kaleb & Kyle Woodard all of Adolphus Kentucky. Nephew Nechie & wife Michelle Woodard and their daughter Cierra. Sister Frances & husband Ronnie Reece of Lafayette TN, and Sister Erma Thompson of Lafayette TN. Brother James Smalling of Westmoreland TN. Step Daughter Mary-Ann & Husband Jeff Maxwell of Michigan, and 3 step grandsons; David Wayne, Daniel & Douglas Foster.
