Elder Henry W. Cook, 81, of Indianapolis passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019.

Henry was born on October 6, 1937 in Hartsville, Tennessee to James Denville and Edna Mae (Sullivan) Cook. Henry was saved by the glory of God on May 10, 1970 and ordained as a minister on August 5, 1989. He married the love of his life, Beulah (Jenkins) Cook on June 2, 1956. Henry retired as a truck driver in 1999 after thirty years of service with United Technologies. He hosted a radio program from the late WNTS radio station called “Old Time Gospel of Our Lord”. Henry loved spending time with his family and riding his motorcycle with his eldest son.

In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by one child, Sandra Wilhelm, and four brothers: Eddie Cook, JD Cook, Lee Cook and David Cook.

He is survived by his loving wife, Beulah; children Todd Cook (Vicky), David Cook (Pam), and Beverly Hewitt (Chris); his five siblings: Charles Cook (Westmoreland, TN), Jerry Cook (Mobile, AL), Mildred Graham (Hartsville, TN), Sheila Morton (Westmoreland, TN) and Judy Cook (Westmoreland, TN), fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Elder Henry W. Cook is Thursday, February 7 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory-Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood, IN. 46142. An additional visitation from 11:00-1:00 p.m. along with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. is scheduled for Saturday, February 9th at Woodard Funeral Home, 5591 US-31E, Westmorland, TN 37186. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westmorland, Tennessee.
