Gary Lane Wix

Mr. Gary Wix, age 68, of Westmoreland, TN passed away on September 30, 2022.

Gary worked in law enforcement, with the TN. Dept. of Safety and served as the Sheriff of Sumner County.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Brittany (Will) Traylor; grandchildren, Dawson, Jude and Finley; nieces, Leigh Ann (David) Braswell and family, Tonja (Naullan) Kendrick, Laurissa (Duran) Martin and Bobbye Wix and family; his companion, Martha Ann Sutherland and her family; as well as a host of loving family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mayo and Margie Wix; his son, Brandon Wix; his brothers, Larry Wix, Danny Wix and Mike Wix ; and his nephew, Richie Wix.

The service for Mr. Gary Wix will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 11:00 AM at Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Legg officiating. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery.

Visitation: Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM service time.
