George Andrew Anderson

Mr. George Anderson, age 72, passed away on September 13, 2026, in Old Hickory, TN. He was born in Nashville, TN to Marvin and Maggie Anderson. He worked as an auto parts delivery driver.

George is survived by his children, Karen Thomason (Ricky), Kevin Anderson, David Anderson (Trina Bowman), April Huddleston (Ricky Shaw) and Anthony Anderson; his grandchildren, Kayla, Tyler, Christopher, Joshua, David Jr., Jessie, Elie, Austin, Richard and Cee Cee; 2 Great-grandchildren; his sister, Brenda Anderson; his brother, Ricky Anderson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

George is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Maggie Anderson; his grandchildren, Darianna Huddleston and DJ; and his siblings Gene Anderson and Joyce Dean Cook.

The service for Mr. George Anderson will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Eulia Cemetery.

Visitation: Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home.

The family has entrusted Woodard Funeral Home with the care of their loved one.
