Mr. Herschel B. McClanahan, age 79 of Portland, TN
passed away Monday, June 16, 2014.

Funeral services for Mr. McClanahan will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM from Providence General Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Williams and Bro. Ryan Whiticker officiating.

Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be: Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home and Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Providence General Baptist Church.

Mr. McClanahan was retired from Kendal. He was a member of Providence General Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge #326 Portland.

He was preceded in death by his:
Father - Willie Bennett McClanahan,
Mother - Lorene McClanahan,

He is survived by his:
Wife of 51 years - Margie Lou McClanahan, Portland, TN

Grand Child - Shannon Brown, Terre Haute, IN
