Mr. Homer Lewis Morgan, age 78 of Westmoreland, TN, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018.

Funeral Services for Mr. Morgan will be conducted on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 12:00 PM from Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Calvin Brawner officiating. Interment will follow in Morgan Family Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home.

Father - Sam B. Morgan,
Mother - Roberta Morgan,
Brothers- John and Paul Morgan,
Sisters - Maureen Franklin and Virginia Bernard,

Mr. Morgan is survived by:
Wife - Jocie Ellen Morgan, Westmoreland, TN
Son - Tony Lewis (Scarlet) Morgan
Son - Victor Chadwick (Ashlee) Morgan
Son - Roman Lewis (Melissa) Morgan
Grandsons - Layne Morgan and Nolan Morgan

Homer was a beloved husband and father. He was a veteran of the Korean War and Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Army where he served in the Military Police. He was a Virginia State Police Officer and Chief of police in Lafayette, TN. He also worked as an over the road truck driver until his retirement. Homer was also a musician and song writer; he loved Country and Bluegrass music. Homer worked hard and loved his family. He enjoyed retirement on his small farm in Westmoreland, TN.
