James Roy Lancaster

Mr. James Roy Lancaster, age 75, of Lafayette, TN, passed away October 12, 2023.  He was born May 25, 1948 in Castalian Springs, TN to the late James Garfield and Mary Frances Johnson Lancaster.  He was a United States Army veteran who served during the Vietnam Era.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David, George Allen, George W and James Edward Lancaster; his sisters, Mary Ann Parks, Christine Polson and Mary Elizabeth Woodard.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dovie A Osborne Lancaster; his children, James (Camielia) Lancaster, Brenda (Carl), Harold Lancaster and Wanda (Keith); his brother, Bobby Jean (Linda) Lancaster; as well as his 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mr. Lancaster will be conducted on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 at 1PM from Fairfield Cemetery.  The family will receive visitors Tuesday from 10AM-12:30PM at Woodard Funeral Home.
