Jeffery "Peanut" Glenn Satterfield

Jeffery Glenn Satterfield, known to friends and family as "Peanut," passed away on May 10th, 2023, at the age of 44. He was a valued employee of Yapp Automotive Systems in Gallatin, Tennessee, where he worked in production.

Peanut was born in Westmoreland and spent his life in the area. He loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing and working on various construction projects. He also loved to listen to music.

Peanut had a special place in his heart for his nephew Justin and niece Ellie Jo, whom he adored. He was a loving and caring son, brother, uncle, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Peanut is preceded in death by his grandparents, W.D. Hyde and Barbara Ann Hyde of Westmoreland, Charlie Satterfield, and Thelma Satterfield of Hartsville; Uncles Willie "Bimbo" Hyde, Kenneth Satterfield, Ronnie Satterfield; Father Roger Lynn Satterfield of Hartsville. 

He is survived by his mother, Betsy Marie Hamby(Hyde) of Westmoreland; Brothers Jeremy(Andrea) Satterfield and Joey(Erika) Satterfield; Nephew Justin Satterfield; Niece Ellie Jo Valencia Satterfield; and many loving aunts and cousins.

His warm smile, kind heart, and positive outlook on life will never be forgotten.

Funeral services for Mr. Satterfield will be conducted on Tuesday, May 15, 2023 at 1PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home, with interment to follow in the Bradley Cemetery.  The family will receive visitors on Monday, May 15th from 4-8PM and again on Tuesday, May 16th from 10AM-service time at 1PM at Woodard Funeral Home.  The family has entrusted Woodard Funeral Home with the arrangements for Mr. Satterfield.
