Linda Gayle Civils, age 76, of Westmoreland, TN, passed away September 30, 2026. She was born July 5, 1950 to the late Brady Leslie Kelly and Bessie Mae Lambert Kelly in White House, TN.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Civils is preceded in death by her brothers, Joe, Ollie and Kary; her sister, Sue; and her granddaughter, Jessica Mae.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, James Civils; her daughter, Tonia (Brandon) Howell; her grandchildren, Bailey (Evan) Begley and Lindsey (Jed) Harper; her great-grandson, Spencer Begley; her step-great-grandson, Jasper Harper; her sister, Brenda Kay (Richard) Singleton; as well as a host of family and dear friends.

Linda was retired from the State of Tennessee as case worker for the child support services. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. Linda was heavily involved in her community. She was member of Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce for 17 years. She also took part in the Meals on Wheels program in Westmoreland.

Funeral services for Mrs. Civils will be conducted on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 11AM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Brandon Howell and Bro. Randy Gregory officiating. Interment will follow in the Siloam Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, October 2nd from 3PM till 8PM and again on Saturday, October 3rd from 9AM till service time at Woodard Funeral Home.
