Obituary

Lonnie Ray Glasgow, age 73, of Westmoreland, TN, passed away peacefully at his home June 14, 2026. He was surrounded by his entire family along with his wife, life long love and soulmate of 53 years, Cindy. He was born August 5, 1952 in Nashville, TN to the late Edward Wyatt Glasgow and Bonnie Jean Davis Taylor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William "Billy" Glasgow; and his sister, Linda Ferguson.

Lonnie was a truck driver. He volunteered for several charitable organizations for seventeen years. He enjoyed mechanics, fishing, hunting, playing the guitar, karaoke with his family, and he enjoyed making people laugh. He had a large family and loved spending time with them all.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Hudgens Glasgow; his son, Lonnie, Jr "Bubba" (Christina) Glasgow; his daughter, Shannon (Tracy) Brawner; his ten grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; his brother, Ricky (Charlotte) Glasgow; and his sisters, Judy (Jimmy) Gleaves, Susie (Wayne) Bogle and Teresa Floyd.

Funeral services for Mr. Glasgow will be conducted on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 4PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. David Scruggs officiating. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday as well from 9AM till service time at 4PM at Woodard Funeral Home.

The family has entrusted Woodard Funeral Home with the care of their loved one. "Serving you as we would like to be served."
