Malena Rose Whitfield

Malena Rose Whitfield, age 60, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on November 7, 2022 at Hendersonville Medical Center. She was born April 20, 1962 in Nashville, TN to Harvey and Norma Bedwell Hammock.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Hammock; her grandson, Miguel Ontiverous III; and her son-in-law, Bryant Harlan.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Garza; her children, Juginda Morris, Melissa Harlan and James Whitfield; her grandchild, Jalen Harlan; and her sisters, Linda Stewart, Betty Lynn McKenzie and Barbara Denson.

Funeral services for Ms. Whitfield will be conducted on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 11AM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with interment to follow in the New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, from 10AM-service time at 11AM at Woodard Funeral Home, Westmoreland, TN.
