Mary Sue Rippy

Mary Sue Rippy, age 83, of Bethpage, TN, passed away, June 19, 2025. She was born July 8, 1941 to the late Fred C. Smith, Sr. and Willie Mae McDowell in Sumner County, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Fred Smith, Jr, and Dale Smith; her sister, Sandra Hooks; as well as her nephew, Kerry Loftis.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Rippy; her sister, Patricia (Carl) Raff; her brother, Randy (Robbie) Smith; her sister-in-law, Carol (Clifford) Loftis; her brothers-in-law, Darrell (Robin) Rippy, Larry (Susie) Rippy and Barry Rippy; her nieces, Jeannie (Jason) Bennett, Erica Gaytan and Marie Loftis; her nephews, John Rippy, Jessee (Carolina) Rippy and Drew (Jessica) Rippy; as well as many great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Rippy was a member of Corinth Church of Christ.

The funeral services for Mrs. Rippy will be conducted on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025 at 1PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday, June 23rd from 2PM till 8PM and again on Tuesday, June 24th from 9AM till service time at 1PM at Woodard Funeral Home.
