Mary Susie Thaxton

Mrs. Mary Susie Grace Thaxton, age 71, of Westmoreland passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Feb. 27th @ 11AM from the Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Fred Cope officiating. Interment will follow in Patterson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Spivey, Justin Spivey, Adam Gibbs, Randy Barnes, Derek Barnes, John Stewart and Brian Summer. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 11AM-9PM, Sat. 11AM-9PM and Sun. 9AM-service time.

Mrs. Thaxton was a member of Westmoreland Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Lafayette and James Ladora Jennett Grace; and her beloved husband, John Henry Thaxton.

She is survived by her daughters, Glinda & (Donnie) Peters of Portland, Tina & (Bill) League of Springfield and Tammy & (Bobby) Stafford of Bethpage; her sons, Mike Barnes of Franklin, KY and Pat Dean of Scottsville, KY; her sisters, Judy Beaty of Phoenix, AZ, Nancy Cole of Franklin, KY and Tommie Frye of Scottsville, KY; her brother, Robert Grace of Franklin, KY; and her twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.
