Randy Scott Akins

Randall Scott "Randy" Akins, age 63 of Auburn, KY (Formerly of Westmoreland, TN) died Friday, September 6, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Lafayette, TN to the late Dean Akins and Reba Spears Akins Walrond who survives. He was a self-employed Electrician and owned and operated Akins Electrical.

Randy is survived by his son, Jeremy Akins (Lynn) of Palm Coast, Florida; daughter, Amy Akins Jent Smith of Gallatin, TN; step-daughters, Jessica Bartholomew of New Orleans, LA and Penny Webb of Bowling Green, KY, Elizabeth Chapman (Jamie) of Brownsville, KY; step-son, David Kessinger of Auburn, KY; as well as 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; mother, Reba Spears Walrond (Hilos) of Lafayette, TN; sister, Jill Akins Wright of Morehead, KY; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and ex-wife, Raven Akins of Brownsville, KY.

Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 13th at 5:30PM in Kentucky and then there will be a memorial service on Saturday, September 14th at 1PM at Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland, TN. The family will receive visitors on Saturday as well from 10AM till service time 1PM at Woodard Funeral Home. Interment of cremains will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Westmoreland, TN.
