Robert Floyd Petty

Mr. Robert Floyd Petty age 63, of Nashville passed away on May 1, 2015.

He was born on May 2, 1951 to the late Elissabeth Loubell Read and Willie Morris Petty in Davidson County, Tennessee.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday May 5 from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with internment to follow in Cedar Bluff Cemetery.

The Family will accept visitors on Sunday, May 3 from 3pm-9pm, Monday, May 4 from 10am -9pm, Tuesday, May 5 from 10am -2pm at Woodard Funeral Home.

Mr. Petty was of the Baptist affiliation and self- employed as a contractor.

Mr. Petty is preceded in death by his wife, Joan Evonye Warner Petty; and son, Jerry Dewayne Petty.

He is survived by his daughters -Tammy Petty of Nashville and Tonya & (Kenny) Wix of Westmoreland; four sisters Judy Wilson, Carol Moore, Sandra Barber, and Edna Cox; one brother - Lonnie Petty; long time girl friend- Rose Houk; eight grand children, and 12 great grand children.

Mr. Petty was a loving brother, father, grand father, and great grandfather. He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.
