Ruby Maidell Bell

May 10, 1920 — February 14, 2019

Ruby Maidell Bell was born on May 10, 1920 to Smiley and Lolar Mae Troutt. She was married to James Bell on May 29, 1938, they were married for 50 years. She is preceded in death by husband, James Bell, 2 son – Glenn Bell and infant son Bobby Wayne Bell, 1 daughter Mary Bell Carr, and parents, Smiley and Lolar Mae Troutt, as well as 5 brothers and 6 sisters.

Funeral Services for Ms. Bell will be conducted on Saturday, February 16th at 2:00 PM from Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Tim WIlliams and Bro. Glenn Creasy Officiating. Interment will follow in the Forrest Chapel Cemetery. The family will recieve visitors beginning on Friday, February 15th from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM and again on Saturday, February 16th from 9:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM from Woodard Funeral Home.

She is survived by 5 children, Webb (Brenda) Bell, Foster (Myrtle) Bell, Caroline (Ray) Key, Gary (Peggy) Bell, and Gail Chambers (Jerry, special friend). 1 Brother – Rammie (Glenda) Troutt. She had 21 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 36 great great grandchildren.

She had a multitude of friends and neighbors which she cherished throughout her 98 years.

She joined the Providence General Baptist Chruch in Westmoreland, TN on September 2, 1956 and remained a lifelong member. She received Christ at an early age in her life and continued to serve him throughout the remainder of her life.

Pall Bearers are her 9 grandson: Bobby Ray Bell, Chris Bell, Stephen Bell, Adam Bell, Darrell Bell, Scotty Carr, Jeff Chambers, Ronald Key, Jason Key.

In lieu of flowers, the family request you make donations to the Forest Chapel Cemetery. These can be made at the office of Woodard Funeral Home.
