Shirley Ann Farris

Shirley Ann (Troutt) Farris, 79 of Westmoreland, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 27th, 2016 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Shirley was born in the Providence Community of Sumner County on June 25th, 1937 to Willie E. Troutt & Maggie Sue (Stewart) Graves.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 29th at 12PM Noon from Woodard Funeral Home with interment to follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends beginning on Friday October 28th at 12PM Noon until 9PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 9AM until Service time at 12PM Noon.

She was married to Cecil Odell Farris on December 25th, 1955. They had been married 59 years at the time of his passing on Sept. 5th 2015.
She was also preceded in death by
Brothers- Cordell, Carl, & Odell Troutt.
Sister- Carlean Dillehay
Daughter-in-law- Sharon Farris

She is survived by:
Son- Doyle & (Gail) Farris of Gallatin, TN.
Son- Darrell Farris of Westmoreland, TN.

Dustin & (Amy) Farris
Alyssa & (Cody) Jenkins
Lindsey Farris

Great Grandchildren:

Mrs. Shirley was a member of Providence General Bapt. Church, The VFW Auxiliary & was retired from the Food Services at Westmoreland Elementary.
