Shirley Ann Morris

Shirley Ann Morris, age 81, passed away on October 1, 2025, in Lafayette, TN.

Shirley is survived by her children, Michael Gene Morris (Karen), Peggy Morris Meador (Kenny) and Lisa Morris West (Dale Rippy); her grandchildren, Kelly Gammon (Michael), Ethan Gammon (Brooke), Stephen Garvin (Alex), Allison Hope Badman (James) and James Lee Moore; her great-grandchildren, Matthew Cantrell, Damien Ladd, Eli Ladd, Lily Gammon, Joshua Gammon and Christian Badman; and her siblings, Elaine Davis (Don), Rosie Parker and Bobby Poole.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Gene Morris; parents, Gilbert and Nilla Poole; Eleven Siblings; and her brother-in-law, Roger Darrel Morris and his wife, Judy .

The service for Mrs. Shirley Morris will be held on Sunday, October 5 at 2:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Warren Rose officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Visitation: Saturday, October 4 at 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home and Sunday, October 5, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM service time.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made in Shirley's name to help with the funeral expenses. These can be made by coming in the office of Woodard Funeral Home. 

The family have entrusted Woodard Funeral Home with the care of their loved one.
