Mrs. Stella V. Carter, age 89, of Westmoreland, TN passed away December 7, 2016.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Carter will be conducted on Saturday, Dec. 10th at 2PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with interment to follow in the New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thurs. Dec. 8th from 1PM-9PM, Fri. Dec. 9th from 10AM-9PM and again on Sat. Dec. 10th from 10AM – Service time at 2PM.

Mrs. Carter was retired from the Truck Stop Restaurant in Westmoreland as a cook after many years of service.

She was preceded in death by her

Husband: Carey Meador Carter
Sons: Johnny and Billy Carter
Sister: Ethylene Caroland
Brothers: Willie, Daily, Cordell, Bob and Fred Cannon

She is survived by her

Grant & (Linda) Carter of Westmoreland, TN
Daughter: Patricia Carter of Westmoreland, TN
Grandchildren: Tricia Brown, Marsha Crawford, Nancy Duffer, Paul Calvert, Lisa Vinson, Cory Carter, Angie Dickerson, Sherry Jo Blankenship and Christy Sallison
