Sylvia Ann Keene, age 87, of Portland, TN, passed away July 1, 2026. She was born March 22, 1939 to the late Dorsie Parks and Nellie Hall Parks in Portland, TN.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Clifton Keene, Sr.; her sisters, Margaret High and Dean Rogers; and her brothers, Bernie Parks, Donald Parks, Kenneth Parks and David Parks.

She is survived by her sons, Cliff (Cindy) Keene of Portland, TN, Mark (Diane) Keene of Portland, TN, and Danny (Karen) Keene of White House, TN; her sisters, Carlene Tucker, Ruby Walter, Parnell Brown, Glenda Hinton and Trudy Crafton all of Portland, TN; as well as five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Keene worked for Garcy Manufacturing for 23 years.

Funeral services for Mrs. Keene will be conducted on Monday, July 6th, 2026 at 1PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Doyle Farris and Bro, Timmy Perdue officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairfield Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers will be Nathan Keene, Jeremy Keene, Blake Keene, Patrick Hammock, Trevor Keene and Logan Sechler. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, July 5th from 3PM till 8PM and again on Monday, July 6th from 9AM till service time at 1PM at Woodard Funeral Home.
