Tammy Thurman-Alexander

Tammy Lachelle Alexander, age 49, of Westmoreland, TN, passed away July 9, 2026. She was born September 9, 1976 in Gallatin, TN to the late Gary Thurman and Vickie Thompson Johnson. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-son, Johnathon "Chubber" Alexander.

She is survived by her daughter, Amber Alexander; her sisters, Kristy Thurman (Bubba) Gross and April Brown; her grandchildren, Evan Hanner, Logan Hanner, Waylon Alexander, Zoey Alexander, Reagan Staggs, and Sam Alexander; her nephews and nieces, Bradley and Dillian Gross, Katelyn Gross, Hunter Gross and Bree Hauskins.

Tammy worked for Grassland Country Club as a cook.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alexander is Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 2PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Don Key officiating. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, July 15, from 1:00 - 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to help with the funeral expenses. These can be made by calling or coming by the office of Woodard Funeral Home.

The family has entrusted Woodard Funeral Home with the care of their loved one.
