Teresa Fayne Jett, age 74, of Westmoreland, TN, passed away September 16, 2026. She was born March 26, 1952 to the late Merlin Howser and Lassie Hauskins Howser in Lafayette, TN.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jett is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jett; her daughter, Michelle Bolding; her sisters, Geneva Law, Bonnie Stone, Ila Howser, Diane Harper and Patsy Carr; and her brothers, Harold and Stevie Howser.
She is survived by her son, Jason (Melisa) Rittenberry; her step-son, Coty (Allison) Jett; her sister, Sue (Billy) West; her grandchildren, Kennedy, Walker and Wheeler; her nephew, Wayne (Robin) Harper; her special friend, Julie Shockley; as well as a host of other nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Jett was the former owner of Eagle Florist in Westmoreland, TN. She was also retired from Unipres in Portland, TN.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jett will be conducted on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 2PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Chad West and Bro. Jack Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the New Zion Cemetery in the Rocky Mound Community. Serving as active pallbearers will be Wayne Harper, Troy Driver, David Shrum, Mark Shrum, Coty Jett, Sandy Knight and Kevin West.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, September 19th from 3PM till 8PM and again on Sunday, September 20th from 11AM till service time at 2PM at Woodard Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank Hendersonville Hospital and Alive Hospice for the compassion and kindness shown to Teresa and their family.
In lieu of flowers the family request you make donations to Union Hill General Baptist Church. You can make these at the office of Woodard Funeral Home.
