Shirley A.
Jones, age 68, of Westmoreland, passed away Sunday,
August 29, 2010, at Westmoreland Care and Rehabilitation Center. She
is survived by her sons, Earnest Burton (Cindy) Jones of Adolphus,
Ky., Jackie Lee (Sherry) Jones of Westmoreland; brothers, Gerald,
Mark and Mike Jessup, all of Shelbyville, Ind.; sister, Carolyn
Hurley of Shelbyville, Ind.; grandchildren, Kimberly (Jamie) Dishman
of Adolphus, Ky., Earnest “EJ” B. Jones Jr., of Adolphus, Ky.;
step-grandson, Christopher Fleming of Westmoreland; great
grandchildren, Jamie, Jakeup and Jordan Disman; special friends,
Deloris Caldwell “Tootsie Mama”, Vaughn Cothron, Ketenia Groves. She
is preceded in death by her parent, Stewart and Mary Ruth Roan
Jessup; husband, Burton L. Jones. Visitation is 4 p.m., until 9
p.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2010, and after 10 a.m., Wednesday.
Funeral service is 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2010,
from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Edward
Ferrell officiating. Interment is at Rippy Cemetery. Pallbearers are
Jamie Dishman, Jimmy Graves, Bill Hartman, Chris Fleming, K.C.
Brackin and Clayton Jones. Mrs. Jones retired from Fleetwood Homes.

Flora Lee
Reed Kunstman, age 41, of Lebanon, formerly of
Westmoreland, passed away Friday, August 27, 2010. She is survived
by her husband, John William Kunstman of Lebanon; daughters, Nycole
(Jeremy) Phillips of Bethpage; son, Josh Reed of Bethpage; parents,
Merlin and Amanda Workman Nelson of Westmoreland; sisters, Lora
(Nicky) Biggers of Bethpage, Ollie (Eddie) Fowler of Gallatin.
Visitation is 3 p.m., until 9 p.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2010, and
after 9 a.m., Wednesday.
Funeral service is 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2010,
from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home. Interment is at
New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers are Hoyt Hale, Dave Harris, Chad
Lester, Randy Carter, Richard Haney and Ronnie Maynor. Mrs. Kunstman
was employed by the Trousdale Emergency Management Services and
worked very earnestly to save lives. |

Lucille Thompson, age 82, of the Bransford
Community, Westmoreland, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010. She
is survived by her husband, Romas Lee “Dink” Thompson of
Westmoreland; sisters, Louise Vantrease of Westmoreland, Betty (Jim)
Gregory of Portland, Gail (Pat) Eller of Westmoreland; brothers,
Jesse Shrum of Westmoreland, Dewey (Linda) Shrum of Gallatin. She is
preceded in death by her son, Romas Lee “Junior” Thompson; parents,
John Allen and Effie Lillian Thompson Shrum; brothers, Edward Shrum
and Cecil Shrum; sister, Frances Earline Shrum. Visitation is 10
a.m., until 9 p.m., Saturday, August 28, 2010, and after 9 a.m.,
Sunday. Funeral service is 2 p.m., Sunday, August 29, 2010,
from The Chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. C.L.
Russell and Bro. Pat Eller officiating. Interment is at Bradley
Cemetery. Pallbearers are Randy Shrum, Ricky Shrum, David Shrum,
Robert Eller, Anthony Herald and Adam Herald. Mrs. Thompson was a
faithful member of Buffalo Springs Missionary Baptist Church for 55
years. Her profession in life was being a loving wife, mother and

Dean Cline, age 67, of Westmoreland, passed away
Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at Sumner Regional Medical Center. She is
survived by her husband, Gilbert Cline of Westmoreland; sons, Danny
Cline of Bethpage, Darrell Cline of Westmoreland; daughters, Tina
Wilkerson of Adolphus, Ky., Penny Williams of Westmoreland; brother, Kenneth Stevens of Portland;
sister, Barbara Graves of Westmoreland; five grandchildren; three
great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents,
Raymond and Virgie Graves Stevens. Visitation is 11 a.m., until 9
p.m., Thursday, August 26, 2010, and after 9 a.m., Friday.
Funeral service is 1 p.m., Friday, August 27, 2010, from The Chapel
of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Eugene Mays officiating.
Interment is at Fairfield Cemetery. Pallbearers are Sam Clubs, Billy
Graves, Kenny Stevens, Allen Cummins, Joe Graves and Derrick Perdue.
Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Wilkerson and Stevie Stinson. Mrs.
Cline retired from the Lawnlite Co (Sunbeam). |
